Bluem of Youth become a major act and sign to Epic/Sony Records.
After a string of releases, which include two full length albums and 8 singles, end up being total commercial and critical flops, Bluem of Youth are then dropped by Epic/Sony.
Desperate, the duo end up starring in a special of a controversial TV program called Susunu! Denpa Shounen (進ぬ! 電波少年), where they agree to travel to Russia to make ends meat only by performing street lives, and were expected to write a hit single and fill at least 10,000 seats at the Nippon Budokan after their voyage. If they could not make it through, they were then forced to disband.
Bluem of Youth (at this point a non-visual band) impressively fill 10,000 seats at the Nippon Budokan.
Due to the huge success of "ラストツアー ~約束の場所へ~", Bluem of Youth are then signed to Sony Music, and their careers are then saved.
Bluem of Youth release their ninth single and first release since being dropped from Epic/Sony, "ラストツアー ~約束の場所へ~", through Sony. It ends up not only becoming their first charting release, but a ginormous success at that, reaching number 2 on the Oricon charts and becoming the 52nd best selling single of 2000.
