RC SUCCESSION (RCサクセション) release their first album "初期のRCサクセション", and later release their second album "楽しい夕に" that December. Both albums fail to chart, however, and are commercial and critical flops.
Because of managerial disputes, RC SUCCESSION (RCサクセション) are caught up in legal red tape and are not able to record or release music for the next two years.

This is also the time where the members adopt their odd costumes and bombastic live shows, getting media coverage due to how radical their image became.
