MUCC's new single, Ai no Uta (愛の唄), will be released in June!

Ai no Uta (愛の唄) will be released on June 4th. This article's title is not a typo, as the band has been signed to major labels twice before, but this release will be their first with TOKUMA JAPAN COMMUNICATIONS. The single comes in three types, although one edition is unique (we'll get to that in a second!).

Type A and B both contain the same music (a title track, B-side, and karaoke versions of each song), but the Type A version will also come with a DVD containing the music video of each new song, plus some documentary content.

The band has also announced that the music video for "Ai no Uta" will premiere on YouTube on May 12th.

Lastly, a third edition of this single will be released as an 8cm single, sold exclusively through the Crown Tokuma shop. It features the band in their April Fool's Day 90's-inspired look on the cover and features only the single's title track, plus two "MiyaOKE" and "YukkeOKE" versions -- it is unclear if that means those members are doing vocals or if each -OKE version is the song without that particular member's part playing.

Oh, and also, when you buy this single from the label's webshop, you also receive a member-voiced alarm clock 🕰️ . The clocks come in 3 versions, each voiced and branded to a specific member. Because of this, these limited edition singles have a fairly hefty price tag of 8,800 yen.
