The ex-members of Cu[be] had a gathering yesterday, so I thought it would be a good time to give an update on what they're doing!

ex-vocalist 螺々 (Lara) does broadcasts every Friday at 22:00 JST through his Niconico channel (the contents are mostly talks about games though...). You can also follow him at his Twitter.

ex-guitarist 尚-nao- is currently performing in an ongoing session called BITE THE DUST 【V. Aki (Diverse glare in Riot) / G. kuruto (ex-Arpege) / G. nao (ex-Cu[be]) / D. TAMO (ex-Levia)】. They're currently playing at Shibuya REX about once a month.
尚-nao- also recently played with a one-off session band called YUNASEA, which featured CindyKate (シンディケイト) vocalist YUUI and ex-VIDOLL guitarist SHUN, and covered LUNA SEA songs.

ex-guitarist 十夜 (Toya) is moving to Australia! (I'm not sure if it's for a study abroad program or something else.) The Cu[be] members' recent gathering was a farewell party for him.

ex-bassist 憂里-yuuri- participated in a one-day revival of his old band Secile 【V. DAINA (ex-PuppetMammy) / G. Maya (support) / B. yuuri (ex-Cu[be]) / D. Mirei (ex-JAGUAR)】. They appeared at the SUZAKU (朱) × Vior gloire co-sponsored event on 2013-05-25.
As far as I know, ex-drummer 亜月 (Atuki) hasn't done anything since leaving the band.

Good to know about what they are doing, even if I've never listened to any of Cu[be] songs... also, about that SUZAKUxVior Gloire event, I saw something about a DVD...did they release any live DVD? Or does Vior Gloire had any plans to release a live DVD before disbanding? As for another live DVD, will Lin release a live DVD from their last live?

As for Vior gloire, I'm afraid a live DVD is unlikely. First of all, I get the feeling that Japanese fans think they're uncharismatic live (although I personally would <em>love</em> to watch them perform), which means there probably wouldn't be much demand... And on top of that, they don't have a label anymore, so they would have to release it themselves via hand-pressed DVD-R, etc... it would be complicated and I'm not sure they know how to do something like that.
I assume LIN will release a last live DVD, but with UNDER CODE closed, who knows? If so, we'll probably find out on 6/30 (either through KISAKI or attendees reporting cameras at the event). And of course I'll update here with that kind of information.

Approve Edit Restrict Delete Lock threadAh, I see. I didn't really expect a live DVD from Vior Gloire, but one can dream...about Lin, I really hope they record the last live. And I hope they play songs that aren't available in the already released DVD's, like Replicant Blue, Mind Confusion, The ins and outs, Come out of your shell, the songs from The Psalms and Lamentations, also from Obscure Ideal...but I think it would be a really long live, and they wouldn't do that. Well, I hope they release this DVD at least, and on another note, thanks for this site and for all information you give to us, this site has to be one of the best things I found in the web :P
