  • Question 26 *What was “KISAKI with Matina family?”- answer A. KISAKI and Matina history book with CD
  • answer B. Distributed CD at Matina revival live in 2009
  • answer C. Project in memorial of Madeth gray'll member
  • answer D. Special band at 2007 Matina revival

-- Ok, first of all, yesterday's question was framed really badly, apologies. I was rushing to finish it so that I could make it to class in time (as I am again today ;D), and so I settled with that awkward mess! Anyway, yesterday's question was what phrase best describes G.O.L? The answer that I was looking for was “KISAKI with Gori.” And now I'll explain with a story:

Gori was an employee at Band @id (a vk production company, notable for creating many UNDER CODE PVs) and a friend of KISAKI. Throughout 2008, Gori had been begging KISAKI (who was retired at this time) to do a project together. It seems that KISAKI finally conditionally agreed, offering this challenge: “work every day for four months and I'll do the project with you.”

Gori chronicled those four months in a blog called “KISAKI PROJECT feat. Gori,” and, finally, he accomplished his goal on December 1st of 2008. So, the KISAKI × Gori project was announced: the two would collaborate under the name of G.O.L, releasing a song on the The End of Missing omnibus.

...Wellll, Mr. Gori got himself into a bit of a scandal—presumably financial, but no one knows—and was promptly fired from Bands @id, and—as seems to be the Japanese way—shunned by all of his friends~ The G.O.L song was cancelled and Gori and G.O.L were never heard of again. (By the way, the omnibus was still released, just without the G.O.L song. But as is the UNDER CODE way, it still kept its 3,150 yen price tag, even though it featured no new songs ;D)

Second, I didn't expect anyone to do it, but I offered another bonus point for saying “WE LOVE UNDER CODE PRODUCTION” somewhere outside the community... And many of you did it! Facebook, tumblr, twitter, Ameblo—you guys covered all the bases! But here's my favorite ~UCP body modification~ (sort of). Seriously made me laugh to see you guys putting yourselves out there, thank you :D

So yeah, bonus have been assigned (gave an extra to http://hyura"; .livejournal.com for doing my favorite WE♥UCP shout out). For today... for one bonus point share the name of a candy, native to your country, that you really like. For another bonus point share an idea of something cool that you think I should do around/for/to the community.

Oh wow, that's really good though! Well, seriously, would you like to do something like that? For the time being, you could just do it in a post here or something. Well, I guess send me a PM if you're interested :D

I started collecting the pictures since 2008. I'm missing a bit more than half of the history =( It would have to be a collective effort. Perhaps, other users would have some old pictures saved~ By ivory_and_irony

I 100% plan to do a comprehensive Matina/UNDER CODE discography at some point, but I want to code the discography part myself and it's hard ;( I'll have to look into doing a lyrics section, 'cause someone else requested it too. Hopefully one day soon :D

Yeah, I agree, it's kind of fun. I really want to build that community aspect more. So yeah, I'm thinking about doing some sort of survey-esque thing like that soon. We'll see :D

I would actually love for someone to do that, but it's kind of hard unless someone's been collecting those OHP pictures since... 2003 or so.

I've also considered “discography competition” in a way, sort of. And in fact, if I ever find time, I really plan on doing something related to that. But I hadn't thought of pictures though. It's not a bad idea :) Hm~~~

I don't know if it's kinda lame but, every one of us could post a photo of ourselves with the UC release that we love the most since we look like a very supportive community ^-^'' so then we could get more extra points :] haha. Or maybe there could be a section where you could post a photo or photos of the UC release/s that you own, organised per artist in order that, together, we can complete all discographies =). Snickers P: As for what you can do: more pictures of topless men. Alternatively, I think it would be cool to have a collection of fan anecdotes that would be compiled and sent to someone at the label, preferable Kisaki himself, so he can be further reminded that there is an interested, and devoted, Western fanbase. It would be cool if he actually read it and took it to heart so it would end up on some UCP~妃の「夢の砂・・・」~ UNDER CODE / Matina / Soleil historical site / book / pamphlet / blog post. By uglyvkfanxxx69

I like very much the candies called "Rossana". ( http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6vES4yINTFU/SHumc7OB11I/AAAAAAAAALY/qU_EoxBrtbo/s400/rossana+caramella.jpg )These candies are full of a tasty cream with almonds and hazelnuts and are typical of Italy, my country. They are produced by Perugina (http://www.perugina.it/templates) a famous Italian confectionery industry. I'd like to suggest a section devoted to the lyrics. I could give my support. In this period I'm studying hard for my third and conclusive japanese exam (I'm close to degree in oriental languages...yahuu XD) and I'm doing a lot of practise also translating Megaromania's songs. Haha I'm glad you liked it~(゚∀゚) / But omg that story about gori is a bit sad, I already wondered why he didn't appear anymore... A german candy that I could not live without since I was small is HARIBO GOLDBÄREN. The green ones are the best, definately! And I know that there are lots of awsome under code cosplayers and it would be cool to have a contest where everyone could post their pictures. (≧ω≦)b

My candy is Glosettes! I didn't even know they were Canadian (~_~)/ They used to come in little paper boxes for Halloween. Chocolate-covered peanuts or raisins! The raisins had a little bit of sugar coating under the choco layer so it was extra-nice even though plain raisins are yuck. I didn't like the peanuts so much...they were kind of hard >_> I'd like more wacky question events (like the bonus point questions)! It's a lot of fun when everyone starts talking and we get more of a community feeling~

Dunno if this is a good idea, I think it would be cool to have a sort of gallery where there's the collection of the (band and profile) pictures of all the bands (active or inactive) from UCP. I'm not thinking about scans, but more like the official pictures that we can find on the OHP. I dunno, but I find it fun to look at the band evolution / era throughout their costume (this might sound weird). Just an idea~ And for the candy question. I'll get back to you! I need to check the name on the bag once I get home lol By ivory_and_irony

Heh, I'm happy for today bonuses! The truth is, Chupa Chups is one of my fav candies, and I recently discovered it was 'invented' by a Spanish man, moreover, he was from my region. So everyone! Please know, Chupa Chups is a candy from Spain! And we are proud XD About something cool to do for the comm, I'm really not sure. You've been doing very nice things here since I joined, and this trivia is one of the best ideas! I'm not a creative person, but with yesterday's bonus I saw other people in the comm are very creative! :3 so I'll just wait for the ideas to come! By necrae_x
