Around this time, Levia is formed by Kisaki in Wakayama (和歌山)和歌山.
A 2006 issue of Cure states that the band formed in January 1992, but KISAKI's official biography from around 2012 lists September 1993 as the date. More recently, in 2017, KISAKI filled out a questionnaire and listed their formation date as June 1993. That's the date we've chosen to go with here.
Due to several faked demotapes being sold at auction, there is a theory among some message board users that KISAKI's early bands did not exist. However, they have all been 100% confirmed to exist via flyers and other material from the time, except for Levia.
This band does seem to have existed though, as KISAKI posted photos with one of the former members around 2007, and the owner of the Wakayama OLD TIME (和歌山オールドタイム) livehouse talked about the band around the same time. Additionally, KISAKI played a demotape from this band at a 90s event around 2015. That being said, it's probable that some of the information presented here is mistaken (i.e. dates or release details).
Curiously, there was another band named Levia that was active around the same time, and that band's real demotape was used as the basis of this band's above-mentioned fake demotapes. Some theorize that the two bands are in fact the same, given that the other Levia played with SCARE CROW (a band that KISAKI roadied for early in his career), and because a photo of [who we assume to be] bassist AINE looks strikingly similar to KISAKI. That being said, the two bands were apparently active in different parts of the country. Details are unclear.
