This “post card collection” photobook was released in collaboration with STUDIO WARP. The B6-sized book features 30 full color postcard “pages” and also includes a mini-CD featuring instrumental versions of two songs composed by KISAKI. The book also includes a sleeve cover and a title strip sleeve.

This was STUDIO WARP's first collaborative photobook (although many other bands followed suit after UNDER CODE PRODUCTION's success with the format), so it is much smaller (B6-sized) than later units (A5-sized). Like STUDIO WARP's other books, the photographs are printed on postcards which are loosely bound, but are actually meant to be torn out and mailed. As such, the book is extremely fragile, and flipping through it only a few times will dislodge the pages.

Some descriptions list the book as having 60 pages, but that number includes the blank backsides of the postcards-30 pages is truthful.

The title 「a basement Melody Ⅱ...」 is actually a reference to a book which KISAKI released much earlier. In the beginning of 2001, the [now defunct] magazine Devil's Night produced KISAKI's first “original artist book”, which was entitled a basement Melody....
