I know for sure that the original web shop privilege was going to be a rerecording of Silent To My Pain instead, but it looks like they changed their mind. I think there were other changes as well, but I'm not sure...

Approve Edit Restrict Delete Lock threadIf I had to infer as to why, I would say that first period Rin wasn't really as popular as Kisaki has expected (didn't he express frustration with how the magomago fanbase cared for like 2 singles and then pretty much gave up?) so to make a remake collection album of songs that didn't really do phenomenally would just be a money sink. He probably figured only the hardcore fans would really -want- to own their older songs remade, so making them a privilege is a way of testing the waters, if you will.
Plus, if last.fm is any indication of how the native fanbase is, people either like one or the other haha. I'm not getting the impression that many people truly live for both eras.
