This may sound stupid and may not be allowed, but I wanna try anyway.
Do you guys remember when Phantasmagoria's Diamond Dust in Truth last live was aired on USENET? Does "MAGO MANGO TANGO" say anything to you? Do you have good memories from that event?
I watched the Diamond Dust in Truth DVD today and all of a sudden had this crushing nostalgic feeling... I'd like everyone who was there and remembers to say something. A short comment is nice too, I just want all of us to remember that amazing day together, because I had so much fun.
This community has some amazing people, but there aren't many opportunities to talk with everyone. I'd be very happy to experience something similar again someday, but memories are just fine for now. So if you feel like talking, please comment with your feelings and memories.

Mmm, I don't think I am terrible at it, though it still takes me sometime to learn a song. Though I have Fairy Times Memory at least half way through on the bass part. When I get the rest of it learned, I was thinking about recording it or something ;D

The only thing that I though of (LATER of course) is we would have to worry about the copy rights of anything we watching :/ We would have to figure out a way to make it private or SOMETHING. I wasn't on the chat because I was attempting recording the live and I couldn't managed everything at the same time without fucking the recording. Well, it was still worth nothing since the recording didn't work. All my other attempts were a success except from this one sigh I was pissed and still am. Tho, I did enjoy this live very much despite the early AM and also trying to not wake up anyone with my squeals and fangirl moments lol

I think I'd kill them for that D: I'm going to a Versailles concert on Sunday with my parents (WTF) and my mom said she'd rather see Mago. Take me to Japan, mommy, and we can see them! Wow a KAWON fan? That's so rare! I'm impressed that Riku has been such an amazing singer since the KAWON times.
I JUST LOVE THEM ALL TOO MUCH >.< They're the best in every single way in my eyes, though I know about their negative points as well. My love for them is not blind, but too great to be smashed by tax evasion, multiple releases of songs, multiple disbandments etc.

My parents have denied me the pleasure of seeing Mago in Texas, when Riku was in LA, and killed a trip to Japan >/ I am not a thrilled person about this STILL.
I'm OLD XD I am 20 and I think I have known about Riku since I was like...9 or so? Its been a while. I followed Kawon way back when through a Japanese friend who lived here before moving to her Grandparents.
Riku is love <3 I love that man with all my heart. I respect him so much. His lyrics are beautiful. He's an artist in every sense. Kisaki is an inspiration to me. I feel more determined when I think of what he's done. Jun and Iori are the best guitarists out there in my opinion. They just work out so well with each other. Matoi is adorable and an awesome drummer. I just wish I knew what he was up to these days. I haven't heard anything about JILL CHRIST in years...

Ewww, that's HOT D: I could see them if they came to Germany, maybe. My parents wouldn't let me go see another band that far, but they know how much I love Mago. My mom likes them too.
I'm still just a kid so I can't say I've been their fan for a long time... though those 3 years still mean a lot to me.
Well, I have to admit they are beautiful and sexy and handsome, but damn, they're not some sexual objects or what. To me, Riku and Maa-kun are the cutest in the world, KISAKI and JUN are the most beautiful in the world, and IORI is the most handsome in the world. But I reespect them a lot♥♥♥

I have to agree with you in a lot of ways. Sometimes I just can't tell what's going through peoples heads. Japanese or not. I play a bass guitar, and I am a part time model and I find a lot of inspiration in Kisaki. His confidence in his music and in himself astounds me.

My major is Japanese, so I spend a lot of my time working on it. Though this summer I've been too busy or lazy to do so. I am working to teach English there so I got work to do. Lol.
Depends on how you advertise in the end. People will come only if you let them know about it and if you get them interested. Which is the hard part I think. I know a lot of people got mad at Mago for the on off disbandment thing. At least the people in Arizona that I know aren't like that.
I would have to say give it some more thought before you go out and make something. :) Cause you want it to be a certain way and accomplish a certain amount. Make sure you know what you're doing first!

I'm not very good at Japanese, I know only what I learned by myself since there are no Japanese teachers or something similar in my area. So my knowledge contains only vocab and grammar from lyrics, blogs, comments and some workbooks my friend who works for Japanese airlines sent me.
Yeah, I don't know if this one will catch on 'cause I'm not really sure how many TRULY passionate Mago fans are out there.
I still have no actual idea of what the comm would contain, I'd like it to be a bit different than other comms. Not just loads of infos, but also maybe events like the one we're planning, or just some friendly activities. Would be cool if other people wanted to join in as well.

Ah. I live in Arizona. It gets to be about 40 something Celsius during the summer, and winter it only drops so far. So I doubt they would want to come here.
I know what you mean. I've been a huge fan of Riku for a very very long time. But Phantasmagoria is by far the band where I think I could connect with him the most.

I have, Eclipse of Myth, Tokyo Requiem, Territory of Divine, and many others. I just need Diamond Dust in Truth. I could try and set up just a Mago Day or something. Play a BUNCH of their stuff. I've got a lot of it in VOB.
I tried both of those. We're trying to find a fan mail to send it to so that he can receive it personally. We feel sending it electronically won't be as powerful. So I am asking people to send me their drawings and writing and a small messages so that I can put it in Japanese, and I will send it to Kisaki once I get the address. We want to wish Kisaki well and wish that he will take care of himself, but its hard for non Japanese fans. If all outs fail I am going to send them to UCP directly with his name on it or something. But we want Kisaki to hear that the rest of the world cares about him just as much.

I gave up on the comms here after a time because they just weren't doing well and I was going through a hard time. I just don't want to purge them because there are some good memories there.
I have some Japanese knowledge. I'm actually about to enter my 4th Japanese class. I'm not perfect, mind you, but usually if given some time I can figure things out.
I'm thinking that a comm like that would be great! The only thing that would come with it is a lot of work however, assuming that it really catches on. I've got 80 some members at my comm that I have on Deviantart, and I need at least 4 mods and even THAT's not enough.
But a lot of it I would think depends on what you're planning on doing. If you want translations of information. Discographies, and so on so fourth. way, you're pretty awesome. Would you mind if I added you as a friend?

Well, I have a fanclub that I run on Deviantart for Undercode. I post a lot of information there. Kind of like this community.
If someone can get me a file of the live, since I don't own it, I have no problem setting up a day where we could do something like this.
Right now I am actually trying to send out 'Please take care of yourself' cards to Kisaki. I just need an address that would get directly to him.
Its taking some time, since people are drawing and writing and what not, but in the mean time I could try and figure something out for this if anyone wants to help.

I do wonder if he will revive Mago at least one more time for the fans outside of Japan. The livestream was nice, but it would be even better if we could actually be there.

Its possible that someone can play the live from their computer through the DVD and then stream it through ManyCam or something. Basically play it and stream what's going on on that person's desktop :D I do that for my art sometimes. People can watch me draw on my tablet, so I don't see how watching a live could be any different.

But I definitely agree, it was a really really great experience, and it was amazing getting to talk to everyone and share our mutual happysad. It was like going to a live with a bunch of friends, without the crazy pushy fangirls! Maybe we can organize some kind of live-watching through youtube or something, sometime? It'd have to be a DVD, not something streaming, obviously, but it'd still be fun. I'm sure we could coordinate a chat to go along with it, of course!

These are one of the best memories I have. It was something truly incredible, to be able to experience Phantasmagoria "live" and people from this community have made it even more magical.
It's such a pity we can't "meet" together some other way... I was actually already thinking about creating a forum of some kind, but I don't have time for maintaining something like that.
