WE LOVE UNDER CODE blog
シンディケイト (CindyKate) has announced that they'll be embarking on a summer semi-threeman tour! It features Jin-Machine and サウイフモノ (SOUIUMONO) and will take place throughout Japan this August.
The band members also recently took time to talk a little bit about the songs featured on their live-limited mini-albums. Below are rough translations:
LOVE CHAMPIONS ROAD - The story of an effeminate young man. Otake wrote it a long time ago, and it features rock riffs with a pop melody, all set to a high register.
Zutto Koushite Itakatta - Seems to be about the same man looking back at his life.
Yurari - A mature middle-ballad.
Kairaku Riron - An “overly-rich” song.
Yubikiri - He wrote this right after graduating from high school! It's a “winter song” which was influenced by his love of Showa-era ballads at the time. He gives it a score of: 59 points for vocals, 77 for guitar, 91 for bass, and 86 for drums.
Ekubo - Seems to be a song which he wrote for CindyKate. Very poppy and focuses on love. He gives this one 21 points for vocals, 73 for guitar, 92 for bass, and 78 for drums.
Necklace - He wrote this during his 3rd year of high school! For this version, he changed it about 20%, mainly in the vocal melodies and adding synth. Seems to be a hard rock song about heartbreak. He scores it 32 points for vocals, 82 for guitar, 89 for bass, and 85 for drums.
Ichinenato no Sakura - This one is about lovers who are separated and meet again one year later... He calls this one a “Sami Super Ballad” which features piano and strings. He gives it 63 points for vocals, 91 for piano, and 90 for strings.
So many... - He says it's an important song. He wanted to release it with CindyKate (and says there might still be a change). It's a love song, as usual.
CLUB-RIZENOA- - This one is “very CindyKate.” I think he wrote it around the time of their mini-album Night people. He says he tried to sing like Mikawa Kenichi.

N@H is the official continuation of HEISEI ISHIN, so, even though the band isn't signed to UNDER CODE, we like to keep up with them! In that spirit, here are some updates on their activity:
First of all, they're releasing a second mini-album! The CD is called シンカノカテイ (SHINKA NO KATEI) and will be released on 2012-07-11. Unlike their first mini-album, this one will be sold in regular stores, including CDJapan!!
- ツナグオト TSUNAGU OTO
- アッパーホップDANCEマニア UPPER HOP DANCE MANIA
- 未来へ掲ぐ掌 Miraihe Kakagu Tenohira
On June 9th, N@H will appear at the Live Stream K-Station on Shibuya CLUB CRAWL event, which might be broadcast online—so keep an eye out for that! Once July rolls around, the band will embark on a short tour to celebrate their second mini-album. The tour is called Mission@马鹿になれ!2012夏 (Mission@ Baka ni Nare! 2012 Natsu), and the band will distribute a small present to attendees. Those who attend all three stops on the tour will receive a special DVD.
After that, on August 11th, N@H will hold their first oneman! It's called 未体験ゾ→ン (Mitaiken ZO→NE), and will be held at SHIBUYA REX. Those who attend will receive a CD with a new song.
Finally, I'd just like to mention that 雨宫 流斗 (Amamiya Ryuuto), ex-guitarist of ClearVeil, held his last live with N@H (he'd been acting as their support guitarist) on 2012-05-26 at Ikebukuro BLACK HALL.
The official web shop put a few special items up for sale earlier this week: shirts which personally belonged to the members of 凛 -the end of corruption world- (LIN). Each shirt, most costing around 3,675 yen, included a signed cheki of the member wearing the shirt. Unfortunately, as you can imagine, the shirts almost immediately sold out.
